Returns and Exchanges

We want you to love what you order. If something isn't right — wrong size, wrong color, or you simply changed your mind — we'll make it easy to fix.
Our Return and Exchange Policy
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return or exchange any item purchased from Don't Panic Shoes.
We ask that items be unworn, unused, and in their original condition with all packaging, tags, and accessories intact. Trying shoes on indoors on a clean surface is perfectly fine — we just ask that they remain in new condition so we can get them to the next customer in the same shape you received them.
Exchanges
Exchanges are always free for U.S. customers. Whether you need a different size, a different color, or want to swap for a different style entirely, there's no charge.
You can start an exchange in two ways. Use the exchange link in your order confirmation email to initiate it directly through our website, or email us at support@dontpanicshoes.com with your full name, order number, and what you'd like instead. You can also text us at (929) 244-3681.
Once we receive your original item, your exchange will be processed within 3 to 5 business days and the new item will be shipped to you with full tracking.
Returns and Refunds
If you'd prefer a refund rather than an exchange, we're happy to process that for you. Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
You'll receive an email confirmation when your return has been received, another when it's been approved, and a final confirmation once your refund has been issued — so you're never left guessing.
Return Shipping
We offer a Free Returns option at checkout for a small fee. If you selected this when you placed your order, your return shipping label is fully covered — making your return completely free.
If you did not select Free Returns at checkout, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We'll still provide you with clear instructions and a return label to make the process as simple as possible.
International customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless Free Returns was selected at checkout.
How to Start a Return or Exchange
Contact us at support@dontpanicshoes.com or text (929) 244-3681. Include your full name, your order number, and let us know whether you'd like a return, an exchange, or if you'd like help deciding.
We'll respond within 24 hours with a return label and step-by-step instructions.
Please don't ship anything back without contacting us first — we need to set up your return so everything processes smoothly and you get your refund or exchange as quickly as possible.
Order Changes and Cancellations
You have 24 hours after placing your order to request a change or cancellation. After that window, your order enters processing and can no longer be modified. If you need to make a change, email us or text us as soon as possible with your name and order number.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@dontpanicshoes.com or text (929) 244-3681. Include a few clear photos of the issue along with your order number.
We'll take care of it right away — whether that means sending a replacement, shipping a different item, or issuing a full refund. We cover all shipping costs for damage and defect claims. This is on us, not you.
Final Sale Items
Custom and made-to-order items are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged or defective. If a final sale item arrives with an issue, we'll still make it right.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund within 10 business days of your return being approved, start by checking your bank account or credit card statement one more time. Then contact your credit card company or bank directly, as posting times can vary and some institutions take additional processing time to reflect the credit.

European Union Customers
If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason, in accordance with the EU's cooling-off period. Items must be returned unworn, unused, and in their original condition with all packaging intact.
